BAKED GOODS FOR OUR MILITARY
Women in Christ are planning to send care packages of baked goods to our soldiers overseas for St. Patrick's Day. All baked goods will need to be placed in the church office on Sunday, March 7th in order for the packages to arrive for the holiday. Anything green and sweet will be perfect! We have several soldiers in our church family that are overseas. If you would like your soldier to receive a package please let us know the mailing address. Women in Christ will plan to send packages several times a year from IUMC.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY
You have probably heard of Dave Ramsey. You may know him as the best selling-aurthor of The Total Money Makeover and host of the popular nationally syndicated radio and television program, "The Dave Ramsey Show," heard by millions of listeners each week.
Financial Peace University (FPU)is a life changing 13-week program on personal finance. It is designed to empower people to manage their money better, eliminate debt, and build wealth. All material is bibically based and taught via entertaining video by Dave Ramsey. The class will be held on Sunday afternoons at Inman from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and will be facilitated by Charles Barnwell, Finance Chair and FPU graduate, and Pastor Jennie Andone. Our hope is that through this class, participants may not only find financial peace, but also grow spiritually and strengthen their families.
If you are interested in participating in the class or learning more about it, please plan to attend one of two orientaion sessions:

SINGING FOR OUR SENIORS AND SHUT INS
The choir has begun a new service ministry for the members of Inman. We have started a six month trial period of this ministry in which we gather once a month, on the third Thursday, at 10:30 in the choir room. We will then visit the homes of those seniors who are unable to come to church regularly or may have a special birthday. We will sing for them from the Cokesbury Hymnal.
This ministry is not a perfectly, practiced singing time, but a sharing of Cokesbury music and visitation time with those seniors that cannot always make the trip to church.
If you have a member of your family or a neighbor that is in need of a joyful song to lift their hearts, please give the contact information to the church office or Mitch C.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNERS
will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 16th at 5:30 p.m.
Reservations must be in the office by noon each Monday. You can make reservations by calling the church office (770 461-2123), by completing the form below, by e-mail
