WOMEN IN CHRIST.
Women in Christ had our first meeting on January 25th to review annual priorities and missions. Our tentative meeting schedule for 1020 is March 22, April 26, September 27, and October 25.
Our next upcoming project will be to send care packages of baked goods to our soldiers overseas for St. Patrick's Day. All baked goods will need to be placed in the church office on Sunday, March 7th in order for the packages to arrive for the holiday. Anything green and sweet will be perfect! We have several soldiers in our church family that are overseas. If you would like your soldier to receive a package please let us know the mailing address. Women in Christ will plan to send packages several times a year from IUMC.
Additionally, as in years past, we will be placing Easter lilies in the sanctuary. You will be seeing an insert in your bulletin in the coming weeks if you would like to purchase lilies in honor or memory of loved ones.
If you would like to join our group, or just attend our next meeting to see what we're all about, we would love to have you. Our next meeting is March 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
New Small Group for Women Forming. We will be starting a “First Place 4 Health” group here at Inman. “First Place 4 Health” is a Christ centered program that focuses on bringing balance into the four areas of life – spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional. The program has a strong emphasis on healthy weight loss and spiritual growth. The program is divided into sixteen week sessions, each with a different bible study.
