Our Youth Program provides youth from grades 6-12 the opportunity to nurture their Christian faith through study, fellowship, and, of course, FUN. Our Sunday Night Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) is from 5:00 to 7:30 in the Griffith Youth Center, and our Wednesday Bible Study from 6:00 to 7:00 in the Middle School Sunday School Room.
Sunday School
The youth are getting to look at the lectionary passages throughout the year. Each morning we discuss the lectionary passage for the day. This way the youth can get exposed to a large range of scripture throughout the year. The themes ususally correlate well with the sermon for the day and can help build upon Pastor Camp's messages for the congregation.
Want to join in on the youth Sunday School Class?
Inman Youth is looking for adults to sit in on Sunday School class. Come get to know the youth a little more and bring additional perspective to our studies! A sign up sheet will be available on the youth board. We would love to have at least one adult friend each week.
Youth BLAZE Bible Study
We are continuing a study of favorite Bible verses. The youth were asked what their favorite verses were and why. Now we are spending time looking into the context and background of each verse to cultivate a deep understanding. We want to stress the importance of knowing Bible verses but also the importance of understanding them at a deeper level as well.
We are continuing a study of traditional hymns and scripture with a new twist. The Christian band, Jars of Cly, came out with an album of traditional hymns in more modern arrangements. For this study we check out theological themes from these hymns and reference scripture. The hope of this study is and appreciation of worship not only as a communication with God but as a learning experience as well.

August 7th - Six Flags Whitewater.
..... This mont's big outing will be held August 7th. As one last summer hoorah before school starts, the youth will be making a trip to Six flags Whitewater.
